Will + Elana Engaged

Will Witt and Elana Cherin.  High school friends from Santa Cruz who never had any attraction to one another.  Somehow they reconnect 8 years later for a friend’s birthday party in Arizona.  They fall in love and are engaged within 4 months.
Of course that makes sense.

This is one of those “what the heck, that’s amazing” love stories you hear about every so often.

Will & Elana are an amazing couple to say the least.  They are both insanely talented artists (photographer and musician), wicked cool and funny, spontaneous and full of life, and both have eyes that will melt your soul (as you will see shortly).  I could go on for hours about how these two compliment one another.
My wife and I have become really close with these two over the past 8 months and they are such a joy and blessing to us.  Being asked to photograph their engagements is incredibly humbling, especially being asked by a fellow amazing photographer.  Angela and I were asked to be a part of their wedding party (another humbling moment!), so I will not be shooting the wedding photos. Nonetheless, we are VERY much looking forward to what is looking to be an incredible wedding in Santa Cruz and I couldn’t be happier to be standing up at the altar with them.

For the engagement photos, Elana had always wanted the big oak trees, tall grass, and overall countryside vibe.  I couldn’t think of a better place then the Santa Ynez area of California.  I think we achieved the vision and went beyond it with many unexpected surprises and fun spots to photograph at.

Congratulations you guys!  I am so excited for what God has in store for you two.
